Here are some more interesting things I found at the Seattle Asian Art Museum.
I love this little dragon teapot. Don’t you? I’ve collected dragons forever.
How about this temple carving from India? Beautiful details.
Guan Yin is very special to me.
And this monk at the moment of enlightenment is very dynamic. You’ll have to visit to see the whole statue as this is just a detail.
This armoire latch was so beautiful I thought it deserved it’s own photo.
And back outside take a look at this gorgeous marigold.

Diane, Talk about having an eye for detail. Guan Yin looks very special to me as well as do the others. Do they have a large collection of Asian/Oriental things or from everywhere?
This particular museum is dedicated to Asian artwork only. The downtown Seattle Art Museum has the broad rage of all kinds of art from everywhere. Last year’s special exhibit was Picasso and this year’s traveling show is Gaugin. There is also an outdoor sculpture garden. Of course there are other great museums in Seattle as well.
